IZAMKAYA "KAMIYA"
An “Izakaya” is a gastronomic pub,
serving drinks and numerous dishes.
Our pub’s name “Kamiya” literally
means: the wife’s house.
“Kami／内儀” is an honorific for
a housewife in pre-modern Japan,
and “ya／家” is a house.
We cook vegetables, rice,
sansai (wild vegetables), fresh river
fish, and chicken from local vender
in Kyoto. At first, please try assorted obanzai Kyoto appetizers.
Then,we recommend our unforgettable yakitori, excellent grilled chicken, cooked with Miyama’s special cuisine .
